Our Team

Ramon Halum, M.D.

Dr. Halum is board-certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and
Diagnostic Radiology, and specializes in critical limb ischemia, CLI. CLI is a
condition where lower extremity blood vessels are severely diseased. When left untreated, CLI can lead to amputations.

He has held academic titles from Indiana University, Wake Forest University, and Medical College of Wisconsin. He has been performing and teaching the art of vascular interventions for nearly 20 years and has spent the past 16 years in Indianapolis. Other interests include superficial vein disease, pelvic compression syndrome, varicocele embolization, and fibroid embolization treatments.

Dr. Halum is an expert in dialysis fistula access. Creating new procedures or refining current treatments is the essence of interventional radiology.
Cutting edge therapy for osteoarthritis knee pain is the discovery of
genicular artery embolization, which reduces pain and inflammation. He
has a BS in chemistry from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and earned his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He did his diagnostic radiology training at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Vascular and Interventional Fellowship at the University of Illinois-Peoria.

Dr. Halum is the medical director of Central Indiana Vascular Care in Greenwood, In. Dr. Halum, and his wife Stacey, have two teenage boys.

 

Michelle Richeson, B.S.N., R.N.

Michelle Richeson is a passionate and patient-focused registered nurse who specializes in the vascular field. Trained in diagnostic and interventional procedures, she excels in offering exceptional on-site patient care in addition to leveraging her strong educational background.

Having most recently served as the Coronary Senior Clinical Field Specialist for Abbott Vascular in Central Indiana, Michelle has a certified history of providing both technical and clinical support to her colleagues, patients, and their families.

Michelle graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also comes celebrated with a variety of esteemed awards and titles, including:

  • National Top 10 Cardiovascular Nurse Consultant (2015)
  • And more

Today, she is the leading registered nurse with Central Indiana Vascular Care.

 

 

Marc Anthony Sénat
Practice Administrator

Marc-Anthony is currently the Director of Central Indiana Vascular Care (CIVC) in Greenwood, IN in the role of Practice Administrator. Prior to coming to AVA and CIVC, Marc-Anthony spent 6 years as Operations Manager of a functional medicine Medical Spa/Clinic.  He gained entry to the world of healthcare back in 2008 working a myriad of roles from sales and later management of teams providing healthcare education, sales and team management in healthcare marketing, sales of capital equipment and medical devices, and sales of healthcare management to independent physicians.

Before stepping into the world of healthcare, Marc-Anthony spent the first tier of his career in the world of IT and project management.  Marc-Anthony earned his undergraduate degree in French Literature, English Literature and International Business from the University of Iowa, a post-graduate certificate in Structured Programming and Analysis from DePaul University, and his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
